MAXAM, a global leader in energetic materials, is seeking a seasoned Mining Projects Leader to oversee international mining initiatives. You will plan, execute, and control end-to-end projects, ensuring profitability and timely delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Mining Engineering degree, 10–15 years of management experience in mining, and a strong background in financial project management. FIFO rotations are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering with substantial project leadership experience.
• 10–15 years’ experience managing large mining projects.
• Availability for Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) rotations.
• Strong background in financial project management.
• Proven leadership and autonomous working style.

Responsabilités

• Lead mining projects end to end with profitability, budget control, and on-time delivery.
• Oversee KPIs, production, safety, and quality on site.
• Coordinate technical and operational teams, working closely with clients and suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement in drilling and blasting operations.
• Manage contracts, financial reporting, and results-oriented decision-making.
