Job summary

MAXAM is seeking a Global Transport Explosives Risk Management (TERM) leader to globally implement, govern, and continuously improve the TERM program. You will ensure compliance with safety, security, quality, and regulatory standards across all transport providers worldwide.

The role demands governance over audits, supplier onboarding, data reporting, and root-cause investigations, driving ongoing improvements and risk reduction in the movement of explosives and hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Logistics, Engineering, Risk Management, or Business).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, compliance, safety, auditing, supplier management, or risk management.
• Experience conducting compliance audits, supplier assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Demonstrated success leading corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of the TERM program.
• Develop and maintain transport compliance policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ensure consistent application of transport compliance across regions and business units.
• Manage end-to-end qualification, approval, and onboarding of transport providers worldwide.
• Monitor licenses, permits, certifications, insurance, driver qualifications, and regulatory documents.
• Lead or support transport incidents investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Design and deliver TERM training, awareness, and competency programs.
• Develop compliance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for data-driven decisions.
