MAXAM in Spain seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead end-to-end industrial engineering projects related to Initiation Systems (IS) and Packaged Explosives (PEX) globally. The role covers design to start-up, ensuring technical solutions, plant layouts and equipment integration.

The candidate must hold a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, have 7–10 years in EPC environments, and be fluent in English and Spanish, with a willingness to travel about 30%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end engineering projects from design to startup.
• Ensure integration of solutions, layouts, and equipment.
• Support international sites during commissioning, ramp-up, stabilization.
• Standardize engineering practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Review P&ID drawings and documentation.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and multiple projects.

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the execution and technical delivery of industrial engineering projects related to Initiation Systems (IS) and Packaged Explosives (PEX) globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engineering projects (design to start-up).
• Ensure proper implementation of technical solutions, plant layouts, and equipment integration.
• Support international sites during commissioning, ramp-up, and stabilization.
• Standardize engineering practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Review engineering documentation (P&IDs, drawings, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and multiple projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 7- 10 years’ experience in EPC or industrial project environments.
• Strong background in commissioning, plant construction, and multidisciplinary projects.
• Solid knowledge of engineering standards and documentation.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Availability to travel (30%)
