Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) / Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design, facility and engineering activities across Europe. Based in Madrid with travel to Luxembourg, Barcelona or London, you will develop and manage mechanical engineering programs for existing and new facilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders.
• Experience in project or program management.
• Experience in written and oral communication, including with all levels of the organization.
• Experience in HVAC design for industrial/commercial/retail buildings.

Responsabilidades

• Define, document, communicate and own mechanical and plumbing design standards.
• Maintain basis of design (BOD) for mechanical and plumbing disciplines.
• Track key metrics and performance.
• Serve as consulting SME to stakeholders.
• Build business cases and market building improvements.
• Develop scalable technologies through industry collaboration.
• Support processes and programs for cost optimization in building operations.
• Lead and support pilot projects for innovative mechanical solutions.
• Own prototype equipment specifications and approvals for non-prototype equipment.
• Drive mechanical cost reduction, continuous improvement and sustainability goals.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with third-party engineering consultants.
• Collaborate with Amazon teams to share best practices.
