Amazon is seeking a Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) / Sr Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and engineering initiatives across Europe within Global Realty Building Design & Engineering.

Based in Madrid (Spain) with optional locations in Luxembourg or the UK and periodic travel, you will set standards, manage programs, and collaborate with Sustainability and Construction teams to improve facility efficiency and safety.

Formación

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• Experience in engineering for commercial/retail buildings.
• Knowledge of Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Refrigeration Codes.
• Ability to manage high-level meetings with technical and non-technical participants.
• Strong project management experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical design initiatives across the EU region.
• Define and own mechanical and plumbing engineering design standards.
• Maintain basis of design (BOD) for mechanical/plumbing disciplines.
• Track key metrics and performance.
• Serve as a consulting SME to stakeholders.
• Build business cases and drive cost optimization in building operations.
• Lead pilot projects to test innovative mechanical solutions.
• Develop prototype equipment specifications and approvals.
• Develop goals related to cost reduction, continuous improvement, and sustainability.
• Manage relationships with third-party engineering consultants and monitor quality and cost.
