Siemens Energy is seeking a Mechanical Senior Engineer for our Service Operations team in Spain. You will diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues on industrial steam turbines and generators at customer sites, perform preventive maintenance, and manage on-site activities independently while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will serve as the primary technical advisor to customers, build lasting relationships, and drive continuous improvement in service processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of field service engineering experience with industrial turbines/generators.
• Ability to work independently on complex technical problems and manage service projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and test equipment usage skills.
• Excellent customer relationship management and analytical abilities.

Imagine diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues on-site, ensuring that our customers’ equipment operates seamlessly. You will conduct both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, independently managing activities while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards. Your proactive approach to customer management will foster strong relationships, enabling you to understand their needs and secure future business. This role not only challenges your technical expertise but also allows you to contribute to continuous improvement in our service processes.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical and electromechanical issues on industrial steam turbines and generators at customer sites.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Min. 3 years of professional experience in field service engineering, preferably with industrial steam turbines, generators, or similar rotating equipment.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex technical problems and manage service projects.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and the use of test equipment.
• Demonstrate excellent customer relationship management and influencing skills, complemented by strong analytical abilities.
