Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Service Operations team in Spain, delivering expert-level services for industrial steam turbines and generators on customer sites.

You will diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues, conduct preventive maintenance, and independently manage on-site activities while ensuring safety and quality. The role emphasizes customer relations and continuous improvement across service processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Min. 3 years of field service engineering experience with rotating equipment preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex technical problems and manage service projects.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical/electromechanical issues at customer sites.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance for reliability and performance.

Join our dynamic Service Operations team as a Mechanical Senior Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert-level technical services for Industrial Steam Turbines & Generators in Spain. Imagine diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues on-site, ensuring that our customers’ equipment operates seamlessly. You will conduct both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, independently managing activities while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards. Your proactive approach to customer management will foster strong relationships, enabling you to understand their needs and secure future business. This role not only challenges your technical expertise but also allows you to contribute to continuous improvement in our service processes.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical and electromechanical issues on industrial steam turbines and generators at customer sites.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• You will independently manage on-site activities, ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor to customers, developing relationships to understand their needs and secure future business.
• Contribute to the improvement of service processes and workflows by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Min. 3 years of professional experience in field service engineering, preferably with industrial steam turbines, generators, or similar rotating equipment.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex technical problems and manage service projects.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and the use of test equipment.
• Demonstrate excellent customer relationship management and influencing skills, complemented by strong analytical abilities.
