Siemens Energy is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Iberia data center market, covering Spain and Portugal. You will combine strategic development with hands-on account management to win new business and expand our energy solutions portfolio.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of sales or BD experience in data centers, energy infrastructure, or related technologies, with a strong network of senior stakeholders and fluent Spanish and English.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of proven business development or sales experience in data centers, energy, or electrical infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience with energy infrastructure, power distribution, grid connection, or onsite generation is advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel across Iberia and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the data center sector across Spain and Portugal.
• Promote our portfolio of power distribution, energy storage, grid connection, and onsite power generation solutions, tailored to customer needs.
• Provide consultative support to data center customers, helping them optimize their energy infrastructure for resilience, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, technology partners, system integrators, engineering companies, and service providers.
• Develop strategic account plans and serve as a trusted advisor to ensure customer satisfaction and drive long‑term business growth.
• Collaborate closely with business unit sales teams, product management, regional hubs, and other Siemens Energy Business Areas to deliver integrated customer solutions.
• Support the development and execution of go‑to‑market strategies for data center products, services, and integrated energy solutions.
• Represent Siemens Energy at customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and partner engagements to strengthen market presence and expand business opportunities.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Data Center market across Iberia, covering Spain and Portugal.

In this role, you will combine strategic business development with hands‑on account management. You will identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and position our portfolio of power distribution, energy storage, and onsite power generation solutions within the rapidly growing data center industry.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in business development and sales, ideally with experience in electrical infrastructure, energy systems, or technology solutions for data centers.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management, preferably within the data center, energy, electrical infrastructure, or industrial solutions sector (min. 5 years)
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Experience with energy infrastructure, power distribution, grid connection, backup power, or onsite power generation solutions is highly advantageous
• Good understanding of the data center industry's key requirements, including reliability, scalability, energy efficiency, and sustainability
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, develop strategic customer accounts, and engage effectively with senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, developing customer strategies, and driving execution
• Willingness and ability to travel across Iberia and internationally as required
• Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is considered a strong advantage
