Elastic is seeking a Senior Manager for Endpoint Protections to lead a globally distributed engineering team focused on visibility, prevention, and on-device machine learning for Elastic Defend. The role emphasizes mentorship, design review, and strategic roadmap ownership.

You will guide senior researchers across endpoint internals, ML, and protection engines, while balancing efficacy, performance, and stability across millions of endpoints. Strong Windows depth is highly valued.

Formación

• Experience leading senior technical ICs on a globally distributed team.
• Hands-on security research background analyzing attacker TTPs and building protections.
• Deep OS internals knowledge in kernel and user mode; Windows depth preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team.
• Guide senior research engineers in endpoint internals, prevention, and ML.
• Own hiring pipeline and coach new engineers to contribute quickly.
• Own the roadmap and drive delivery.
• Decide where to invest in new visibility and deepen protection engines across millions of endpoints.
• Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and land features on release timelines.
• Coordinate cross-team planning and share accountability.
