Job summary

Lingokids is seeking a Senior Level Designer to lead localization design for games and interactive experiences. You will redesign content in Unity to accommodate multiple languages, adapt layouts and UI, and ensure culturally sensitive content across markets.

You’ll collaborate with Production and regional teams to plan releases, analyze user feedback from tests with children aged 2–8, and maintain localization specs and technical documentation for scalable, high-quality play experiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Level Designer or Technical Game Designer, preferably in mobile or educational gaming.
• Proven experience designing and shipping games or interactive experiences in Unity.
• Proficiency in Unity Editor for level design, feature configuration, and game parameters.
• Strong understanding of technical optimization practices in Unity.
• Experience writing and maintaining in-depth design documentation and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead localization design strategy for games and interactive experiences, defining guidelines and best practices.
• Redesign game content in the Unity Editor when localization impacts gameplay, adapting layouts and features.
• Design and produce layouts, levels, and features for games inside the Unity Editor.
• Collaborate with Production and regional stakeholders to plan game releases.
• Drive retention by collecting qualitative feedback from user tests with kids and analyze regional metrics; translate insights into design decisions.
• Develop and maintain technical design documentation, including localization specs for assets.
• Ensure technical optimization of games, including localized builds, and promote quality standards.
