Job summary

Equinix is seeking an intelligent, energetic Legal Counsel, Corporate to join its EMEA Market Growth and Enablement legal team in Madrid. This broad, international role supports strategic growth initiatives across EMEA, including M&A, joint ventures and other partnerships, new market entries and other complex corporate matters.

You will partner with Corporate Development and One Legal, coordinate cross‑jurisdictional workstreams, oversee external counsel, and deliver commercially focused

Qualifications

• Law degree from a recognised university with qualification as a lawyer in an EMEA jurisdiction
• Proven years post-qualification experience, including experience in a law firm
• Ability to take ownership and manage competing priorities with discretion to involve others

Responsibilities

• Support M&A transactions across EMEA throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Structure, negotiate and manage joint ventures, strategic alliances and partnerships
• Coordinate cross‑jurisdictional workstreams and manage external counsel
• Advise on competition/antitrust, foreign investment and other regulatory matters
• Lead and support integration of newly acquired or built businesses
• Leverage AI and legal tech to improve delivery and scalability
