Job summary

Avaya is seeking a talented Corporate Counsel to join its International Legal Team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work across a broad range of legal disciplines, including commercial contracting, corporate governance, litigation management, regulatory matters, and strategic business projects.

The successful candidate will support business operations across EMEA and, where required, other international regions.

Qualifications

• Law degree and legal qualification to practice in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 3–6 years PQE in a law firm and/or multinational corporate legal department.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements.
• Support corporate governance and entity management across jurisdictions.
• Assist in disputes, litigation matters, and coordination with external counsel.
• Provide regulatory, data privacy and compliance support.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and deliver training as needed.
