Job summary

NVIDIA DGX Cloud organization in Madrid seeks a Senior Systems Software Engineer with deep distributed-systems experience and Kubernetes expertise. You will drive performance, scale characterization and testing across GPU and CPU resources, while collaborating with researchers and customers to resolve complex issues.

You'll design monitoring tools, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and engage with upstream communities to influence design decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Computer Architecture, Networking, Storage or equivalent
• Expertise in Kubernetes and familiarity with CNCF projects
• Background in large-scale parallel and distributed accelerator-based systems
• Experience optimizing performance and AI workloads on large-scale systems
• Proficiency in Golang and Python
• Experience with public CSP infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure, OCI)
• Background with NVIDIA software ecosystem in training and inference domains

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end performance and scale characterization for the NVIDIA DGX Cloud software stack across Kubernetes and NVIDIA components
• Collaborate with researchers, developers and customers to develop automated tests simulating real workloads
• Investigate and resolve root causes in complex distributed systems
• Design and develop monitoring, reporting and analysis tools for performance testing
• Triage and debug Kubernetes clusters at ultra-large scale for reliability and efficiency
• Build and maintain a CI/CD framework enabling continuous performance testing
• Document research and present findings at internal/external venues including KubeCon and GTC
• Engage with upstream communities (Kubernetes, CNCF, NVIDIA OSS) to validate performance and scalability
