Job summary

T-Systems Iberia is hiring a DevOps Engineer Principal to guide enterprise customers through onboarding, PoCs, and integration of AI workloads on GPU clusters. The role focuses on designing tailored architectures, enabling end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, and advising on best practices for scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment, performance optimization, and reliable operation of AI platforms for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in design/delivery of systems based on IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
• Experience with GPU-based infrastructure.
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes container technologies.
• Expert in scripting languages: Python, Bash.
• Expert in automation: Ansible, Terraform, Helm.
• Expert in CI/CD in Kubernetes and repo management.
• Automation with GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD tools.
• Strong Linux OS experience.
• Experience with monitoring/visualization tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
• English at B2 level; German an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Consult customers on GPU infrastructure and platform usage.
• Lead onboarding and training; mentor customer specialists.
• Design and implement PoCs, including pipelines and deployments.
• Translate business needs into technical specs; perform requirement engineering.
• Assist with performance optimization, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across infra, networking, automation, security, and AI services.
• Propose automation concepts to improve services and operations.
• Ensure reliability, scalability and security across customer lifecycle.
• Support monitoring, observability and capacity planning for AI workloads.
