UST España & Latam is seeking a Senior Java Developer with a DevOps mindset to build robust APIs and scalable services for a global financial services project. The role offers 100% remote work for candidates based in Spain and requires strong Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems experience.

You will join a cross-functional SRE team applying reliability principles to ensure highly available, secure, and resilient applications.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience as Developer in Operations.
• Production-grade API development using Java & Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of SOLID, SOA, REST and HTTP.
• Experience with microservices on container orchestration.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Wiremock, Pact, Postman and Cucumber.
• Knowledge of OAuth authentication/authorization and distributed tracing.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins; IaC basics.

Responsabilidades

• Work as part of a SRE cross-functional group applying Site Reliability Engineering to in-house front-end applications.
• Maintain highly available, fault-tolerant applications by overseeing how systems relate to each other.
• Identify, troubleshoot and pre-empt operational issues; modify code as needed.
• Preserve platform health and implement tech compliance.
• Drive engineering best practices and set team standards.
• Estimate, scope and plan work within an agile environment.
