Job summary

Bending Spoons seeks a talented IP lawyer to join our global team in Madrid, with initial in-office presence and flexible options thereafter. You will shape our IP strategy, manage a diverse portfolio, and oversee enforcement across jurisdictions.

We invite candidates with a law degree, practical experience, and excellent English to contribute to product decisions, open source issues, and regulatory risk in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Law degree and bar admission preferred.
• Experience handling IP matters and technology agreements.
• Fluency in English mandatory (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Shape our intellectual property strategy.
• Manage our portfolio of inventions, trade secrets, and rights.
• Run cross-border IP disputes and enforcement with outside counsel.
• Draft and negotiate technology and IP agreements.
• Provide general legal advice on product decisions and commercial matters.
• Build scalable legal tools and AI-enabled processes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and address evolving needs.
