Qualifications
- Law degree and bar qualification; some experience in law firm or in-house counsel.
- Strong English reading, writing and speaking.
- Solve complex problems from first principles and structure ideas clearly.
- Ambitious, proactive and highly responsible.
- Experience with IP, open source, advertising, consumer law and commercial matters.
Responsibilities
- Shape our intellectual property strategy with scalable processes.
- Manage our portfolio of inventions, copyrights, trademarks, designs and database rights.
- Run IP disputes and enforcement with outside counsel.
- Draft and negotiate technology and intellectual property agreements.
- Provide sound legal advice on product decisions, commercial transactions and acquisitions.
- Build scalable legal tools and AI-powered workflows.
- Stay ahead of regulation and identify opportunities to unlock value.
