Job summary

Wizeline is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to join our Barcelona team, driving mobile architecture from Swift and SwiftUI to scalable MVVM implementations. You will translate business needs into robust technical specs and collaborate with cross-functional partners across product and design.

The role requires 5+ years of iOS experience, familiarity with APIs and cloud services, and a proven track record of publishing iOS apps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of iOS development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Familiar with data structures, system design, design patterns, API designs, MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
• Full stack background is a plus with cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc.
• Published at least two iOS apps.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Knowledge of mobile architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Ability to identify and grow skilled engineers on the team.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Positive attitude and composure under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance team efficiency by driving initiatives and introducing new technologies, including practices like Cross Knowledge Training.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and make informed decisions on technology adoption, infrastructure, and cost impacts.
• Document and communicate infrastructure and design decisions to both business and technical stakeholders, ensuring clear ownership and accountability for projects.

Must-have Skills

• 5+ years of iOS development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Familiar with data structure, system design, design patterns, API designs, MVPor MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
• Full stack background is a huge plus. Familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc is a plus.
• Have published two or more iOS apps.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• The ability to identify skilled engineers as we grow the team.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• A positive disposition and a good attitude under pressure.
