Job summary

Wizeline in Barcelona is seeking an experienced Android engineer to build native mobile features and help shape the architecture in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment. You will collaborate with product teams, implement Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, and apply MVVM/MVP patterns, data structures, API design, Git, and DevOps practices.

Nice-to-have: full-stack background, cloud services, GraphQL and Firebase. Hybrid role in Barcelona with 3 days in-office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android native Mobile development experience.
• Kotlin and Jetpack Compose proficiency.
• Familiarity with data structures, system design, design patterns, API design, MVP or MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
• A full-stack background is a huge plus; cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase are a plus.
• A passion for news and creativity to introduce new ideas and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical discussions and decisions, ensuring effective application architecture and programming standards are implemented.
• Design and manage processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management, while collaborating with product teams to align technical and business goals.

This is a position based in Barcelona in a hybrid mode (3 days per week at the office)
