Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain next-generation native iOS applications for premium, high-traffic global digital brands.
• Lead technical discussions regarding architecture, infrastructure, and frameworks, prioritizing scalability, maintainability, and business value.
• Design and manage robust processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management in close collaboration with product teams.
• Identify, address, and resolve technical debt to continuously improve team productivity and ensure seamless project delivery.

Must-have Skills

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on native iOS mobile development experience.
• Core Tech: Deep expertise in Swift and modern declarative UI development using SwiftUI.
• Architecture & Design: Strong command of data structures, system design, design patterns, API integrations, and MVC/MVVM architectures.
• Development Tools: Proficiency in Git version control and modern DevOps practices.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Communication: Advanced/Fluent English level to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.

Nice-to-have

• AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
• Tech Stack Breadth: A Full-Stack background or familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, and Firebase is a huge plus.
• Industry Passion: A strong interest in news, media, or a background in journalism to help introduce creative ideas and technologies to our products.
