Job summary

Wizeline in Barcelona, Spain, is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to help design and deliver premium native mobile applications. You will work with product teams and stakeholders to translate business goals into robust mobile solutions.

You will own architecture discussions, implement Swift and SwiftUI code, mentor teammates, and stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable results.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in native iOS mobile application development.
• Hands-on experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Knowledge of data structures, system design, and software design patterns.
• Experience with API design and architectures such as MVC or MVVM.
• Experience with declarative UI development.
• Experience using Git and familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Ability to participate in technical discussions and decisions related to architecture and standards.
• Ability to collaborate with product teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

• Drive technical discussions and decisions, ensuring effective application architecture and programming standards are implemented.
• Design and manage processes for software development, testing, monitoring, and change management, while collaborating with product teams to align technical and business goals.
• Identify and address technical debt, continuously improving team productivity and supporting the delivery of high-impact mobile applications.
• Contribute to the design and development of next-generation native iOS applications for premium digital products.
• Evaluate technical approaches, frameworks, and technologies based on business value, scalability, maintainability, and project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the team, leveraging strong knowledge of mobile development tools and technologies.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging development techniques and make recommendations regarding their potential application.
