Job summary

UL Solutions in Spain is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Heat Pumps to lead certification, testing and evaluation of residential and commercial heat pump technologies, guiding projects from engagement to final approval.

You will act as a technical expert, develop innovative test methods, apply EN and ISO standards, coordinate laboratories, and collaborate with manufacturers and industry bodies to advance energy efficiency in HVAC.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy or HVAC related field.
Experience with heat pump technology and testing standards.
Proven ability to manage complex technical projects.

Responsibilities

Lead heat pump certification and testing projects from engagement to final certification.
Define scope, testing requirements, costs, timelines and deliverables.
Review designs and data to determine compliance with standards.
Provide technical recommendations and solve engineering challenges.
Coordinate with customers, laboratories, and internal teams.
