Novanta is seeking a Hardware Engineer within the R&A group to develop robust, high‑performance electronics for motion control products. You will work on system‑level design and detailed PCB engineering, collaborating with cross‑functional teams from concept through production.

The role requires a PhD or MSc in Electrical/Industrial Engineering, 2+ years hardware experience, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Formación

• Ms or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or technical related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years working experience.
• Experience with electrical circuit technology design and assembly processes.
• Background in electrical power applications.
• Experience with PCB/PCA manufacturing processes.
• Experience in electronics verification and validation.
• Ability to write technical documents such as assembly instructions, test procedures, and test and analysis reports.
• Altium Designer proven experience.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain hardware for R&A servo drives.
• Design new and redesign existing electronic circuits and layouts.
• Perform circuit analysis and simulate to optimize designs.
• Hands-on hardware bring-up, debugging, and optimization.
• Review and improve external documentation (manuals, datasheets).
• Improve internal architecture and design documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
