Job summary

Titan Operating System S.L. (Titan OS) in Barcelona seeks a Senior Backend Engineer - Go to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend infrastructure powering our products and services.

You will ensure security, reliability, and high performance across backend systems as user growth accelerates. You will collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to implement new features, optimise code, and help deliver robust solutions for a fast-growing media/advertising platform.

Qualifications

• +6 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer, working on large-scale systems.
• Proficiency in Go.
• Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Focus on performance, scalability, and security.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Strong communicator and fluent in English.

• Designing and developing highly scalable backend services and APIs.
• Building and maintaining databases with secure, efficient data access.
• Collaborating with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to implement features.
• Optimising performance and reliability of server-side code.
• Ensuring security of backend systems with best practices.
• Writing clean, documented code and following team standards.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting production systems for high availability.
• Participating in code reviews and improving development processes.
