Titan OS is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer in Barcelona to join its growing team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable server-side architectures powering our innovative TV and digital advertising products, with a focus on reliability, security, and performance.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of backend experience, expert Ruby on Rails, strong database knowledge (SQL/NoSQL), and hands-on cloud and containerization skills (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional backend experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization.
• Strong RESTful API design and integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing highly scalable backend services and APIs.
• Building and maintaining databases securely and efficiently.
• Collaborating with front-end, DevOps, and product teams to define features.
• Optimising performance and reliability of server-side code.
• Ensuring backend security through best practices and protocols.
• Writing clean, documented code following standards and team practices.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting production systems with high availability.
