Job summary

TwinRed is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join our Barcelona team. You will design, build and maintain high-performance, scalable systems handling large traffic volumes, with Go (Golang) as a core part of our stack, and occasional work on Scala/PHP legacy code.

You will collaborate across teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. We value curiosity, ownership and a strong CS foundation, with excellent English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Go (Golang).
• Excellent level of English.
• Strong understanding of computer science and systems fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and maintaining high-performance, scalable systems handling large volumes of traffic.
• Working hands-on with Go as a core part of our backend stack.
• Occasionally contributing to a core service written in Scala, diving into legacy PHP code.
• Collaborating across different parts of the platform and turning business requirements into technical solutions.
• Profiling, optimizing and improving existing systems for performance and reliability.
