The BOARD, a recruitment and talent acquisition firm, seeks a Senior Backend Engineer (Java/React) for an international tech consultancy in Madrid. Strong Java with SpringBoot, React, AWS, and database experience are required; Kotlin for microservices is a plus.

Interviews will be conducted in English and a permanent contract is offered. The role offers a hybrid setup with 3 days onsite in Paseo Castellana, Madrid, a 38-hour week, and a competitive €70K–€75K salary depending on experience.

Formación

• University degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
• English proficiency at least B2 (interviews in English).
• 8+ years of experience with Java and SpringBoot, microservices.
• 3+ years of React experience.
• Experience deploying on AWS and cloud scalability.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and clean, maintainable code in agile environments.
• Kotlin experience for microservices (1+ year).

What are we looking for?

• University degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
• Ability to communicate in English (minimum B2 level). Interviews will take place in English.
• More than 8 years of experience and deep knowledge of Java with SpringBoot, micros, etc
• More than 3 years of experience working with React
• Skilled in leveraging cloud AWS for deployment and scalability.
• Experienced in working with both relational and non-relational databases, including SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Experienced applying software design principles, data structures, design patterns, and computer science fundamentals to write clean, maintainable, optimized, and modular code with clear naming convention and agile environments.
• Have to nice, more than 1 years of experience with Kotlin for developing micros.
