Job summary

Swiss Re is seeking a hands-on Senior Security Engineer - Workload Security for a hybrid role in Spain. You will design, engineer, and operate security controls across endpoints, Linux workloads, containers, and cloud-native platforms, with a focus on runtime protection and threat detection.

You will collaborate with Detection Engineering and Incident Response teams, leverage Sysdig Secure and Falco, and integrate security capabilities through Helm and GitOps pipelines in enterprise Kubernetes

Qualifications

Several years of security engineering experience in EDR/XDR or cloud/container security.
Solid knowledge of Windows/Linux security fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes security and container workloads.
Experience with Sysdig Secure, Falco or similar tools.
Familiarity with Helm, Argo CD, GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design, engineer, and operate endpoint and workload security across Windows, Linux, cloud, and containers.
Develop and tune runtime detection rules and policies using Sysdig Secure or equivalent.
Work with enterprise Kubernetes platforms and cloud-native environments (AKS).
Integrate security capabilities via Helm, Argo CD, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with Detection Engineering and Incident Response teams for telemetry use cases.
Troubleshoot complex security and integration issues across OS, containers, APIs, networks.
