Job summary

Pearson in Poland is seeking a Lead Specialist, Content Developer to lead complex English Language Learning content across print, digital, and blended formats. You will own delivery, working with project managers, authors, suppliers and teams to ensure high pedagogical and quality standards.

You will guide others, navigate dependencies, tight timelines and evolving AI-enabled workflows to improve speed, quality and scalability in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience developing English Language Learning courseware across print and digital products.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex, multi-level content development projects.
• Strong editorial judgment in briefing, reviewing and approving content.
• Ability to anticipate and solve content, quality and delivery challenges including timelines and dependencies.
• Experience collaborating with project managers, authors, external suppliers in an international environment.
• Ability to coach and guide without formal line-management responsibility.
• Curious and proactive about AI-enabled content development and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex content development across print, digital, and blended English Language Learning products.
• Own delivery of large multi-level projects, ensuring consistency across components and formats.
• Identify and resolve content, quality, dependency and delivery challenges.
• Work with Project Managers to provide realistic development lead times and risk mitigation.
• Brief, review, evaluate, and approve work from authors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Collaborate across Product, Production, Digital, Assessment, Design and other functions to enable delivery in an international environment.
• Provide expert guidance to content developers and teams, without formal line-management responsibility.
• Lead adoption of AI-enabled workflows to improve quality, speed and scalability.
• Make independent content and delivery decisions and communicate progress and risks clearly.
