Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona (Spain) or Saint Herblain (France) seeks a Converter, Cooling & Electrical Engineer to drive wind turbine converters, cooling and electrical systems. You will diagnose performance issues, support field teams, and ensure high availability of our turbine fleet.

The role requires electrical engineering expertise and wind turbine knowledge, with travel to field sites. Hybrid work model offered and opportunities to influence the energy transition.

Qualifications

• A formal education in electrical engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with electrical systems, control systems and wind turbine technology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose performance issues and support field teams to minimize turbine downtime.
• Optimize converter performance through diagnostics and proactive monitoring to reduce outages.
• Develop long-term technical strategies to increase self-reliance in converter systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, high-quality repairs and timely maintenance.
