Job summary

Talantir in Spain is assembling an expert pool of Environmental & Social Safeguards Consultants for the IFDK-funded Framework Agreement on Technical Assistance for Public Infrastructure Finance Projects.

Selected consultants will be contacted for assignments requiring robust E&S due diligence, EIAs/ESMPs and monitoring in energy projects, with emphasis on land use, emissions, and community impacts. Fluent English is required, with CEFR C1 or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience in E&S due diligence, EIAs/ESIAs/ESMPs, and monitoring to international standards.
• Work in energy sector projects with focus on land use, emissions and community impacts.
• Proven ability to operate in OECD DAC-listed developing countries.

Responsibilities

• Sector assessments and investment prioritisation.
• Project preparation and study execution.
• Environmental and Social advisory services.
• Climate risk and adaptation assessments.
• GHG accounting and impact measurement.
• Capacity building and knowledge transfer.
• Ad hoc technical and multidisciplinary support.
