AECOM in Madrid is looking for an experienced hydraulic engineer to deliver drainage design for major infrastructure projects within the Transportation line. You will lead design activities, review studies, and support multidisciplinary teams in international environments.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (Bachelor and Master preferred), 7+ years of experience, proficiency in Civil 3D/OpenRoads/OpenRail, GIS tools, and fluent English, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering.
• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in design and delivery of linear infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads/OpenRail.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS and QGIS.
• Experience using HEC-RAS and Infoworks for hydraulic modelling.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee the design of drainage systems for highways, railways, airports and other infrastructure projects.
• Review and validate hydrological and hydraulic studies produced by project teams.
• Coordinate and supervise hydraulic modelling activities using specialised software.
• Manage collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in international environments.
• Review and approve technical documentation in Spanish and English.
• Provide technical guidance to junior professionals and design teams.
