Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Highways Engineer to join our busy Linear Infrastructures team in Madrid. You will work on roadway design from feasibility to detailed design on international projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting Home Offices across borders.

The role requires 2+ years in highway/Civils design, English fluency, and experience with OpenRoads, Civil 3D or 12d Model. A Bachelor or Master in Civil Engineering is expected.

Qualifications

Proven track record of working on highway/Civils designs.
Experienced with at least one of the software packages OpenRoads, Civil 3D or 12d Model.
Fluent in English (oral and written).
Experience in North America region / Australia is favorable.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and lead AECOM's culture; support your team and embrace new approaches.
Work collaboratively on international projects to support AECOM's Home Offices.
Contribute to drawings under Designer supervision and set CAD standards.
Prepare geometric design of linear infrastructures and complex 2D/3D drawings.
May train less experienced staff in drawing and graphic elements.
