AECOM SPAIN DCS S.L.U. in Madrid is seeking a senior hydraulic engineer to contribute to major infrastructure projects, focusing on drainage design for highways, railways, and airports.

You will apply your expertise across the project lifecycle, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in an international setting. The role requires a civil engineering background (Bachelor and Master), 7+ years of experience, proficiency in Civil 3D/OpenRoads, GIS, and hydraulic modelling tools, plus fluent

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years in design and delivery of linear infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads/OpenRail inc. modelling tools.
• Knowledge of GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and QGIS.
• Experience with hydraulic and flood modelling tools like HEC-RAS and InfoWorks.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee drainage design for highways, railways, airports and other projects.
• Review hydrological and hydraulic studies and ensure technical quality.
• Coordinate hydraulic modelling using specialised software and packages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in international environments.
• Review and approve technical documentation in Spanish and English.
• Provide guidance to junior professionals and design teams.
