Job summary

Gaming Innovation Group in Barcelona is seeking a Senior SRE/DevOps to own the health, performance and capacity of our gaming platform services. You will focus on automation for CI/CD, IaaC and container orchestration across multi-node architectures.

You will work with development teams to ensure operability, monitor SLAs, and roll out new features with robust telemetry in a hybrid Barcelona-based setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with multi-node/multi-tier web architectures.
• Experience with persisted key/value stores such as ETCD or Redis.
• Experience with CI tools like Github Actions and Jenkins.
• Experience with CD tools such as Argo CD.
• Senior level experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm and Helmfile.
• Experience with Ansible configuration management.
• Senior experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• You will be the primary owner for the health, performance and capacity of gaming platform services.
• Troubleshoot across hardware, software, application and network stacks and drive automation improvements.
• Gain deep knowledge of systems and contribute to design and standardization.
• Ensure timely resolution of critical problems meeting SLAs.
• Develop, configure and optimize monitoring and telemetry.
• Assist in rollouts and deployments of new features and installations.
• Build tools to enable rapid deployment and effective observation of applications at scale.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure operability is built into platforms.
