Job summary

King is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Developer Experience & Infrastructure) in Barcelona to strengthen the platform tooling and build reliable, scalable systems for developers across multiple games.

You’ll design self-service tools, improve IaC and cloud workflows, and mentor teams while collaborating with game studios worldwide. We value practical automation, strong Linux expertise, and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Linux systems in production or high-availability settings.
• Hands-on experience automating infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools (Terraform, Puppet, or similar).
• Practical experience with major cloud platforms and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language to automate pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Elevate Developer Experience by designing, building and supporting self-service platform tools and automated workflows.
• Scale Infrastructure by maintaining and modernizing IaC and containerized build systems across multi-OS and cloud environments.
• System Design & Reliability by shaping platform architecture, strengthening monitoring, and troubleshooting distributed services.
• Collaborate & Mentor by working with game teams across locations, documenting platforms, and sharing knowledge.
