Factorial HR is seeking a senior Kubernetes-focused infrastructure engineer to own the CI/CD platform end-to-end. You will manage self-hosted GitHub Actions runners on bare metal, optimize builds, and ensure fast, reliable test data services for Rails apps across European datacentres.

You will design caching, scale the runner fleet, and operate IaC with Terraform and GitOps tools. A strong Linux foundation and scripting are essential for on-call reliability and incident response.

Formación

• 5+ years running production infrastructure, with Kubernetes at the centre.
• Deep Kubernetes knowledge: scheduling, limits, evictions, node pressure, DaemonSets, controllers and operators.
• Strong Linux/container fundamentals (containerd/docker, cgroups, namespaces).
• Terraform and IaC with state hygiene and modular design.
• CI/CD at platform level: shared workflows, templates, runner architecture, build caching.

Responsabilidades

• Own CI/CD Kubernetes clusters end to end: capacity, reliability, upgrades, security and cost.
• Run self-hosted GitHub Actions at scale: runners, controller and cache management.
• Keep data services fast for tests: MySQL, Redis, ClickHouse alongside rails apps.
• Design and tune build caches: node-local overlays, image caches, pull-through mirrors.
• Instrument the platform and set targets to reduce queue wait and build times.
• Operate infrastructure as code: Terraform via PRs, GitOps with Flux/Argo CD, Helm/Kustomize.
• Provision and operate bare metal; manage networking, troubleshooting, and kernel-level issues.
• Lead blameless postmortems and turn learnings into runbooks and alerts.
• Treat the platform as a product; communicate with developers to improve workflows.
