Job summary

Malwarebytes Inc. is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to own AWS infrastructure with Terraform, enforce security and cost-conscious practices, and lead modern CI/CD across the Consumer team. You will own site reliability for production systems, drive automation, and support rapid development cycles.

The role requires strong scripting, Linux/container expertise, and experience with SRE principles, IaC security, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience in AWS and cloud infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Deep Terraform expertise and secure IaC practices.
• Strong GitHub Actions experience with security scanning in pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure with Terraform and security guardrails.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines with automated security checks.
• Champion cloud security and remediation of misconfigurations with AWS tools.
• Define SLOs, build observability and alerting with CloudWatch and related tooling.
• Participate in on-call rotation and manage production incidents end-to-end.
• Maintain build and release environments and develop automation tools for client apps.
• Evaluate emerging DevOps technologies and run proof-of-concept tests.
• Keep architecture docs and runbooks current and actionable.
