Parser is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to deploy, maintain, and scale industrialized products in cloud environments. You will own IaC, container orchestration, and secure networking while collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.

The ideal candidate has deep Terraform and AWS expertise, hands-on Docker/ECS experience, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. A global client-facing role includes periodic UK site visits.

Formación

• Degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Extensive experience deploying in cloud environments, AWS preferred.
• Strong Terraform expertise and IaC mindset.
• Proven Docker and ECS experience; Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Python scripting.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on deploying, maintaining, and scaling industrialized products in cloud environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code, networking, and container orchestration, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient solutions that align with evolving business needs. This role requires strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure and services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
• Manage container orchestration platforms such as ECS, alongside CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
• Configure and optimize networking services including VPCs, security groups, and routing protocols.
• Implement and maintain compute, storage, and serverless services while adhering to best practices for security and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system issues using logs, monitoring tools, and incident management processes.
• Automate workflows and develop tools for improving deployment efficiency, infrastructure monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Write and optimize structured queries using SQL and develop scripts with Python to improve system performance.
• Ensure systems comply with cyber standards and regulations for data security and privacy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Document infrastructure processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure maintainability and knowledge continuity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Several years of experience deploying and maintaining solutions in cloud environments, with strong experience in AWS (certification is a plus).
• Must have strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Must have strong expertise in Docker.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools like ECS, nice to have experience with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Deep understanding of networking configuration (VPCs, subnets, security groups, etc.).
• Proficient in scripting and querying with Python.
• Strong version control experience with Git.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, incident management, and troubleshooting practices.
• Understanding of cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

Location:

• Candidates based in Spain : The role requires one 3-day trip per month to the client site in the UK.
