Job summary

Malwarebytes is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Consumer team in Bilbao, Spain. You will architect and manage AWS infrastructure, enforce security, and drive CI/CD automation to keep our production systems reliable and scalable.

You will own site reliability, monitor performance with CloudWatch, and mentor engineers while aligning with executive strategy. The role emphasizes automation over manual processes and requires strong scripting and cloud security expertise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps/SRE with AWS at scale (EC2, ECS, ECR, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, EKS, and CloudFront).
• Deep Terraform expertise and secure IaC practices.
• Strong scripting (Python/Go/Bash) and Linux admin skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure with Terraform and security defaults.
• Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with automated security scanning.
• Champion cloud security with GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config and vulnerability management.
• Define SLOs, observability with CloudWatch, and lead blameless post-mortems.
• Participate in on-call rotation and own production incidents end-to-end.
• Maintain build and release environments and develop automation tools for client apps.
• Evaluate emerging DevOps tech via PoCs and keep runbooks updated.
• Interface with exec leadership on platform strategy and investment decisions.
