NTT DATA in Madrid is seeking an experienced DB2 Database Administrator to design, administer, and support IBM z/DB2 environments. You will ensure SLA adherence, implement automation opportunities, and drive operational efficiency in a global support setting.

The role focuses on production support, release management, and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams to deliver resilient database services.

Formación

• 8–12 years hands-on DB2/Mainframe experience with security, automation, DR, and production support.
• Strong DB2 architecture, backup/recovery, and performance tuning knowledge.
• ITIL aligned incident/change/problem management knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Provide production support and release management for Db2 environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain physical database structures and configurations.
• Manage RACF/ACF2 DB2 security and access controls.
• Maintain High Availability and replication for business continuity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver stable database services.
• Support migrations, upgrades, data conversions, and root-cause analysis.
