Flywire is seeking a Senior Data Engineer I specialized in SRE and AI Infrastructure to build and scale data platforms with reliability and observability at the core. You will partner with Data Science and Analytics teams, treating Data as a Product and applying IaC practices across GCP/AWS.

You will drive automated CI/CD, real-time streaming, and governance, ensuring secure, cost-efficient data pipelines that power predictive AI models in a global payments environment.

Formación

• 7+ years in Data Engineering with at least 2 years in senior/lead roles.
• Experience applying SRE principles to data (uptime, alerting, incident response).
• Strong cloud IaC experience with Terraform in GCP or AWS.

Responsabilidades

• Data SRE & Platform Reliability: define SLIs/SLOs, automate self-healing, minimize downtime.
• AI & Data Platform Agent Integration: design infra and pipelines for AI agents.
• Advanced CI/CD Automation: GitLab CI for data workflows and infra deployments.
• Data Observability & Cost Optimization: monitor queries and optimize cloud costs.
• Streaming & Real-Time AI Feeds: build real-time streams with Beam/Flink/Pub/Sub.
• Data Governance via Code: automate RBAC/ABAC and data lineage in IaC.
