Job summary

Qualifications

• Expert level SQL with complex queries and tuning.
• Experience with enterprise data models (Data Vault, 3NF, dimensional).
• Minimum 5+ years in data engineering or SQL-heavy backend roles.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments.
• English fluent (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex SQL transformations for analytics, reporting, and regulatory needs.
• Work with enterprise data models (Data Vault, dimensional, 3NF, SCD).
• Ensure SQL is performant, maintainable, and well documented.
• Build and maintain SQL-driven ETL/ELT data pipelines; use Python for automation when beneficial.
• Support BI enablement with dashboards and data prep for BI tools.
• Collaborate with finance, risk, and business teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Operate SQL workloads in production with monitoring and governance.
