Job summary

Julius Baer in Madrid is seeking an experienced IT Architect to lead the design and development of the SAP BW/4HANA-based finance data landscape. You will bridge strategic architecture with delivery, oversee multiple workstreams, and ensure robust data flows and reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP BW/4HANA, ABAP, HANA views, CDS, and a strong banking finance data model. Fluent English is required; German is a plus. A Master's degree in economics or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW/4HANA implementing complex data models and reporting solutions.
Proven ability to model BW/4HANA objects, including ADSO transformations.
Proficient in ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs) and SAP HANA calculation views.
Design experience with CDS views and a Finance Data Model in Banking.
Strong knowledge of SAP FSDM and SAP PaPM a plus.
Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the redesign of the finance system landscape based on SAP BW/4HANA across multiple workstreams.
Define solution architecture and oversee the delivery of work packages from design to production.
Model data, optimize reporting flows and ensure robust, scalable data architectures.
Coordinate with stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure compliance with architecture standards.
