Enfint seeks a senior data engineer in Madrid to develop and optimize SQL transformations for analytics and reporting in a regulated financial environment. You will design data models (Data Vault, dimensional, 3NF), implement data quality checks, and build SQL-driven ETL pipelines using Python.

You will collaborate with finance, risk, and compliance teams, ensure observability and CI/CD practices, and contribute to platform improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SQL-centric data engineering or backend roles.
• Expert-level SQL development experience, including query optimization and tuning.
• Strong knowledge of Data Vault, dimensional, SCD, and 3NF data modelling techniques.
• Hands-on experience building SQL-driven transformations and scalable data solutions.
• Practical Python knowledge for automation and integration tasks.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI for backend enablement.
• Strong focus on data quality, reliability, and maintainable solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, requirements refinement, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Hands-on experience with version control, code quality, and CI/CD.
• Fluent English communication, written and spoken.
• Experience in banking or financial environments and regulated domains.
• Nice to have: Temenos T24/Transact, Temenos Triple’A or similar core banking systems, observability tools, data governance frameworks, automation for data ops, performance optimization, and complex BI environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize complex SQL transformations for analytics and reporting.
• Design and extend enterprise data models, including Data Vault, dimensional, and 3NF models, and maintain standards.
• Implement data quality checks, validation logic, and SQL testing frameworks.
• Build and operate SQL-centric ETL/ELT pipelines using optimization and reliability principles.
• Use Python for automation, API integrations, and workflow enhancement.
• Structure datasets for Tableau and Power BI consumption, supporting performance and governance.
• Partner with finance, risk, and compliance stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Ensure pipeline monitoring, observability, and operational stability in production.
• Apply engineering best practices, including version control, documentation, and CI/CD integration.
• Contribute to platform improvement, performance tuning, and architectural roadmap initiatives.
