Idealista in Córdoba is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to rebuild the data layer for a core vertical. You will redesign data models, analytics, and integrations on a modern architecture within an empowered team.

You will own data decisions, collaborate with product and backend teams, and document all modeling choices from day one. The role emphasizes data governance and scalable pipelines in a fast-growing property tech company.

Formación

• Advanced SQL with CTEs and window functions
• Experience with transformation frameworks like dbt
• Data modeling (dimensional or Data Vault)
• Knowledge of modern data architectures (lakehouse/ELT)
• Python or JVM for pipelines
• Git and CLI proficiency
• 5+ years in data engineering
• Experience collaborating with product/backend teams

Responsabilidades

• Redesign the vertical's data model, including entities, relationships, events, and metrics
• Design and implement ingestion, transformation, and serving pipelines using dbt and columnar databases
• Define and enforce data governance: ownership, lineage, catalogs, naming standards, data quality
• Integrate heterogeneous sources via clear data contracts between teams
• Collaborate with product and backend teams to translate needs into robust models and pipelines
• Document modeling decisions, contracts, and standards from day one
