Lodgify is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our data platform. You will build scalable pipelines, ensure data quality, and enable data-driven decisions across the company.

You will work with analysts and stakeholders to improve data accessibility, governance, and support downstream analytics and AI/ML initiatives. Remote-friendly, international team, Barcelona-based HQ.

Formación

• 7+ years in data engineering with hands-on experience using modern data stack tools.
• Advanced SQL and Python for data engineering tasks; strong data modelling and warehousing fundamentals.
• Proven experience with orchestration tools like Mage.ai, Airflow; dbt; ELT solutions such as Fivetran and Airbyte.
• Experience with a cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Track record of building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines in production.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with analysts and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with GDPR and data privacy considerations.
• Experience in SaaS or Travel/Hospitality industry is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using our core data stack.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and contribute to data governance practices.
• Develop and optimise data models using dbt for analytics and operational use cases.
• Troubleshoot data issues and assist with tracking implementation problems.
• Ensure data infrastructure supports downstream analytics and AI/ML initiatives.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data accessibility for visualization and operational syncing (Hightouch).
• Optimise performance and cost-efficiency of the data platform.
• Mentor team members and promote data engineering best practices.
