idealista is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to rebuild the data layer of one of our core verticals from the ground up. You will redesign data models, analytics, domain objects, and integrations within a modern architecture, owning data decisions alongside an established team.

You will collaborate with product and backend teams to translate data needs into robust models and pipelines, design end-to-end ingestion and serving processes with dbt, and implement governance and documentation from day

Formación

• Advanced SQL skills with large data volumes.
• Experience with dbt or similar ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Strong data modelling skills (dimensional, Data Vault).
• Ability to translate product needs into robust data pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Redesign the vertical's data model with domain thinking.
• Build ingestion, transformation, and serving pipelines using dbt.
• Define data governance: ownership, lineage, quality.
• Integrate heterogeneous sources with clear data contracts.
• Collaborate with product/backend teams to meet data needs.
• Document modeling decisions and contracts from day one.
