Secret Source in Spain is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and optimize critical customer-identity data assets across Books & Media and Fashion. You will join the BI & Data Engineering team and partner with Data Engineers and Analysts to build reliable, scalable data solutions and improve matching accuracy.

The role emphasizes production-grade Python, Airflow orchestration, and end-to-end pipelines in a remote-capable setup within Spain.

Formación

• 5+ years of production data engineering experience.
• Strong experience with BigQuery and advanced SQL in large-scale analytical environments (production).
• Strong Python skills for production-grade data engineering.
• Solid Airflow experience and reliable orchestration patterns.
• Hands-on with incremental pipelines and idempotent data processing.
• Experience with probabilistic record linkage or entity resolution in production.
• Strong data quality and matching logic understanding.
• Clear, ownership-driven work approach and strong communication.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end pipeline that creates the unified customer_uuid across Books & Media and Fashion.
• Maintain and evolve customer identity master data with focus on accuracy and production quality.
• Improve probabilistic identity resolution model; make matching decisions transparent and explainable.
• Build scalable data pipelines across BigQuery, GCS, and Cloud Run Jobs.
• Introduce diagnostics, monitoring, and validation for model changes.
• Identify and resolve edge cases in customer matching before production issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn complex matching challenges into robust data solutions.
