Open Digital Services, the software arm of Santander Group, seeks a Senior Data Engineer in Spain to design, build and optimize scalable data pipelines for analytics, ML and reporting. You will work with Spark/Scala, cloud platforms (AWS) and CI/CD to deliver production-grade data solutions.

You will collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, ML and business teams, ensure data quality and documentation, and contribute to best practices across the data platform.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on Spark experience in real projects with Scala.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and banking/fintech environments.
• Strong SQL knowledge and data modeling skills.
• Proven ability to design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and CI/CD practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Spark and Scala.
• Develop batch and near-real-time data processing for high-volume environments.
• Create reliable datasets for Analytics, Data Science and ML teams.
• Work with AWS cloud services to process, store and expose data; ensure data quality and monitoring.
